Is masked Aadhaar legally acceptable?
Yes per UIDAI guidelines for non-eKYC use cases. Banks doing full Aadhaar eKYC need the unmasked version; everywhere else, masked is preferred.
Will the QR code be affected?
Yes — PDF Mavericks also masks the QR code by default, because the QR decodes the full Aadhaar number. If you only mask the printed number but leave the QR scannable, the privacy benefit is cosmetic.
