Frequently asked questions
- How do I convert a TXT file to PDF?
- Drop a .txt file onto the upload area or paste your text, pick a font and page size, then click Convert to PDF. The paginated PDF downloads straight from your browser — no account and no upload.
- Can I paste text instead of uploading a file?
- Yes. There is a text box below the drop zone — paste or type any text and convert it directly. You do not need a saved .txt file to use the tool.
- Does the PDF handle long lines and page breaks?
- Yes. Long lines wrap to fit the page width and the text flows onto new pages automatically. Blank lines and indentation from the source text are preserved.
- Which fonts and page sizes are supported?
- You can pick a monospace (Courier) or serif (Times) font, set the font size from 8 to 16pt, and choose A4 or Letter page size. Monospace is a good fit for code and logs; serif reads better for prose.
- Is my text uploaded anywhere?
- No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib — your text never leaves your device and nothing is stored on a server. Closing the tab clears everything.
- What about accented characters or emoji?
- Standard Latin characters, common punctuation, and Western accents render correctly. Characters outside that set (some emoji and non-Latin scripts) are replaced with a placeholder, since the built-in PDF fonts do not include them.
