Merge Tally-Exported PDFs — Ledger, Voucher, Invoice

Overview

Tally exports each report as a separate PDF. CA handover and GST audit response need a consolidated bundle: party ledger, transaction vouchers, GST invoices, journal entries, year-end reports. Merge per tax period or per audit query.

How to Use This Tool

Export each relevant Tally report as PDF (Tally Prime: Export → PDF). Drop into /merge in logical order. Save as TALLY_<COMPANY>_<TAXPERIOD>.pdf.

Frequently Asked Questions

What order do CAs prefer?

Trial Balance → P&L → Balance Sheet → GST returns → Party ledgers → Voucher detail. Macro-to-micro flow lets the CA verify totals first, then drill into supporting detail.

Will Tally signature persist on merge?

Tally PDFs aren't digitally signed by default. If you've signed them externally via /sign, the signature is preserved through merge.

Can I merge across different Tally companies?

Yes but generally not advised — auditors usually want one PDF per company. Multiple companies in one file makes reconciliation harder.
