Should I merge Part A and Part B separately or together?
Together. Auditors prefer one merged PDF per employment period (Part A immediately followed by Part B), then the next employer. Easier to scroll one document than juggle four files.
Do I need to merge salary slips too?
Optional but recommended. If your Form 16 sums look off, the salary slips are the source-of-truth. Append them at the end of the merged PDF in a separate section.
Will the TDS certificates verify against TRACES?
Yes — TRACES verifies by TAN + assessment year, not by PDF integrity. The merged PDF doesn't affect the underlying TDS record.
