How do I turn off HEIC on my iPhone so it saves JPGs directly?
Go to Settings > Camera > Formats. Choose Most Compatible. iPhone will then save photos as JPG and videos as MP4 by default, though file sizes will be roughly 2x larger.
Can I convert HEIC to JPG without losing the original?
