Compress GST Invoice PDF Under 1MB — Email + Cloud Storage
Overview
GST invoices with embedded images (company logo, signature scan) and IRN-signed QR codes typically run 800KB-3MB per invoice. Email attachments cap at 25MB; some procurement portals cap at 1MB per invoice. Compress without breaking the IRN signature.
How to Use This Tool
Drop the GST invoice into /compress, choose Medium for IRN-preserving compression. Output is usually 200-800KB. Verify the IRN QR still decodes via any QR scanner, then send.

Compress PDF →Frequently Asked Questions
Will the IRN signature still verify after compression?
Yes at Medium setting. The signed XML payload is preserved as a separate object inside the PDF; image compression doesn't touch it.
What about High compression?
High compression may rasterize images aggressively. The IRN signature itself stays valid, but logo + signature quality drops noticeably. Use Medium for IRN invoices.
Can I batch-compress a folder of invoices?
Not in one click — drop each PDF individually. For bulk operations, compress one, set as preset, repeat. We're adding batch mode to the backlog.
